Return policy

1. Eligibility for Returns

To request a return, products and orders must meet the following criteria:
  • The return request is submitted within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Products are unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging (including tags, boxes, or protective materials).
  • Products show no signs of damage, wear, or modification (e.g., scratches, stains, or custom engravings—if applicable).
  • Clear proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email, receipt) is provided.

2. How to Request a Return

Follow these steps to initiate a return:
  1. Send an email to support@bediart.com with the subject line “Return Request - [Your Order Number]”.
  2. Include the following details in your email: order number, delivery date, name of the product(s) to return, and reason for return.
  3. Wait for our support team (led by Lauren Argo) to confirm your return eligibility and provide a Return Authorization (RA) number—this number must be written on the outside of your return package.
  4. Ship the eligible product(s) to our return address (listed in Section 4) within 7 days of receiving the RA number.

3. Refund & Replacement Rules

  • Refunds: Once we receive and inspect your returned product(s) (typically within 2–3 business days of delivery to our address), we will process a refund to your original payment method. Refunds may take 5–7 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment processor.
  • Replacements: If you prefer a replacement (e.g., for a defective item), we will ship the new product once the returned item is confirmed eligible. No additional shipping fees will be charged for replacements due to bediart’s error (e.g., wrong item, manufacturing defect).
  • Non-refundable items: Shipping costs for the original order are non-refundable, unless the return is caused by our mistake (e.g., incorrect product, damaged item).

    Note: Do not ship returns to any other address—packages sent to unapproved addresses will not be processed.

5. Exceptions

  • Customized products (e.g., mugs with personalized engravings) are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or with a manufacturing error.
  • Products returned after 30 days, or in non-eligible condition (e.g., used, damaged), will be rejected and shipped back to the customer at their own cost.
